This is the third bulletin of the COVID-19 Information and Data Hub which presents the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on people in the immigration system across the UK.

  • The priority needs remain broadly consistent with those indicated by the second survey. Food poverty, isolation and loneliness, tech poverty and lack of financial support have remained high needs.
  • The results from this survey show an increase in reports of food poverty (from 50% to 63%), which had appeared to diminish as a need between Surveys 1 and 2.
  • From the second survey to the third survey there was a reduction in reports of people being Unaware of COVID or how to stay safe from 15% to 2%.
