Collective Support for the Refugee and Migration Sector

Resources, training, and insights shaped by the sector — for the sector.

What is Collective Support?

Collective Support is how Insight to Action supports organisations and practitioners working with refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. It is built directly on the needs identified through our Insight Hub surveys and calls, and solidarity spaces, which capture emerging challenges and opportunities from across the sector.

By pooling expertise, co-creating resources with partners, and sharing learning openly, Collective Support helps organisations and practitioners to be less reactive and respond effectively in a changing landscape.

Why it matters

The refugee and migration sector faces rising and increasingly complex needs, while resources are often stretched. That’s why our support is responsive and grounded in lived realities. By engaging with the Insight Hub and Solidarity Spaces, organisations and practitioners tell us what challenges they face. Collective Support then turns those insights into:

  • Open-source resources designed around sector priorities.
  • Training and development programmes tailored to real needs.
  • Shared learning through blogs, reports, and reflections.
  • Collaboration spaces that centre lived experience and frontline expertise.

This ensures our work is relevant, timely, and embedded in the sector.
