Partnership Events & Networks Terms of Service
Data we collect and store
Refugee Action will store personal data about you, including (but not limited to):
- Your name
- The organisation you work for
- Your role
- The region you work in
- The email address that you provide
- Your attendance at partnership events and network meetings
- Whether you have lived experience of migrating to the UK
These details will be stored securely within Refugee Action’s systems for the purposes of running the partnership events and networks. Session data will also be stored in the Zoom platform for up to 6 months after each session, after which it will be deleted from Zoom.
How we use your data
Refugee Action will use this information to:
- Administer the partnerships and networks you belong to
- Distribute resources and materials
- Invite you to future sessions and relevant courses/events that may support you or your organisation
- Invite you to evaluate the project’s impact and provide anonymised statistics to funders
- Maintain attendance registers and records of organisational involvement
Data sharing
- Refugee Action may pass on your name, your contact details and details of any of our networks that you are part of to contracted evaluators to enable them to invite you to take part in surveys or interviews to evaluate any aspect of the Frontline Immigration Advice Project.
- Should funding end and Refugee Action will no longer be able to run the partnership event or network meeting, we may pass your contact details onto another member of the group to allow the group to continue running should someone wish to take it over.
- Outside of the above, Refugee Action will not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent
- Refugee Action will share anonymised data with funders and may include such data in evaluations, reports and promotional materials.
- Sessions are delivered via webinar. Other members and invited guests may see you, hear your voice, see your displayed name, and view anything you share on your screen or in chat. We ask you to enter your first name and organisation for attendance purposes. Any further information you share is at your discretion.
Training courses Terms of Service
Refugee Action will store personal data about you, including (but not limited to) your name, the organisation you work for, the town/city you work in, any contact details you give us, any courses you book and your progress toward regulation, including assessment results and registration with the IAA.
Refugee Action will use this information to administer courses, monitor and evaluate the project's impact and provide anonymised statistics to funders.
Refugee Action may pass on your name, your contact details and details of the courses you have booked or attended or the IAA assessments you have passed to your organisation. For the purposes of this declaration, your organisation shall be taken to mean the organisation you have entered in this or any subsequent booking form. This will be done if requested by your organisation for any reason. Such a request may relate specifically to you or to all trainees of that organisation. This may also be done on our initiative to check that the organisation knows you and agrees to your accessing Refugee Action courses.
Refugee Action may pass on your name, your contact details and details of the courses you have booked or attended or the IAA assessments you have passed to contracted evaluators to enable them to invite you to take part in surveys or interviews to evaluate any aspect of the Frontline Immigration Advice Project.
Refugee Action will not pass on any personal information outside of these limited circumstances without your permission.
Training is delivered by means of a webinar in which other trainees may see you, may hear your voice and anything you say and may see any name you enter, anything you share on your screen or any message you type. We ask you to enter your first name and organisation when you attend a webinar so that we may confirm your attendance. Any other information you share in the webinar is at your discretion.
Refugee Action reserves the right to record training webinars and allow all current, former and future trainees to access and download the audio files only from these recordings for educational purposes. These recordings may feature your voice, your first name and any information you have spoken or messaged during the webinar.
