ADVICE & SUPPORT

FLIC (in collaboration with the Financial Times) have produced a guide to help would-be hosts and guests navigate the complexities of moving to the UK. Includes tips on finances and information on benefits and employment rules. Available in English and Ukrainian. Read the resource‍
London Plus have set up a shared repository document to map organisations providing support to Ukrainians and called for others to feed into this (remit wider than London). ‍

NCVO have a blog post on how charities and civil society can support Ukraine.
Google has a page on helping Ukraine, which includes details of changes to google search and maps.
The WM Strategic Migration Partnership has put together a summary of support for Ukrainian residents, the UK Humanitarian Route and what you can do to help. Read the resources.
The New Forest for Ukraine are pulling together voluntary interpreters as well as matching people to homes.
On the Institute of Translation and Interpreting’s website you will find information and links regarding language support.
NACCOM have written a response and guidance around 'Homes for Ukraine' and has launched hosting guidance around good practice.
The Chartered Institute of Housing’s housing rights website now has a dedicated resource page on Ukraine with lots of links and guidance.
Barnardos have a Ukrainian Support Helpline.

LEGAL ADVICE & SUPPORT

Ukraine Advice Project have launched a free pro bono advice service by UK Immigration lawyers with support from Free Movement.
Work Rights Centre (WoRC) have an information page with advice, mainly for Ukrainian nationals. They also speak Ukrainian and provide advice on employment rights in the UK.
IAS are offering free advice sessions around visa concessions for Ukrainians.

GOVERNMENT

Immigration Rules for Ukraine Visa Schemes
GOV.UK has a page on “Support for family members of British nationals in Ukraine, and Ukrainian nationals in Ukraine and the UK” with details of concessions for non-British family members in Ukraine, and Ukrainian visa-holders in the UK.
The Government has announced a sponsored humanitarian visa route for Ukraine nationals without family ties to the UK.
EIN has published a detailed House of Commons Library Briefing on the current concessions for Ukrainian nationals, dated 4 March: 2022
The website for the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme has now been launched: https://homesforukraine.campaign.gov.uk/
GOV.UK have advice and guidance to organisations about what work they may undertake at OISC Level 1, related to Ukrainians seeking to enter or remain in the UK. OISC L1 Advisers can assist with most applications. Read the guidance
