Share, Connect, Grow was designed to support refugees and people seeking asylum in Liverpool through information sessions, social activities and tours. This 2-page document highlights the team's reflections and learning throughout their co-production experiences.
Share, Connect, Grow was fully co-produced with volunteers who have lived experience of the UK immigration system. While all volunteers shared lived experience of forced migration, they brought diverse cultural backgrounds, religions and personal journeys - this diversity was a key strength of the project. The document shares practical lessons from Share, Connect, Grow, showing how co-production - through relationships, shared power, clear purpose and open communication - can create more responsive services while giving people a stronger voice, sense of belonging and ownership.
